I think I filed just before that or around that and we got our return about 2 weeks later.Quick question for all of you Georgians.
Did anyone ELECTRONICALLY FILE their state taxes ON or AFTER February 5th, and already received their refund?
My Welsummer eggs came completely wrapped in bubble wrap and 7 out of 8 have developed...That actually makes me nervous. I shipped out Frizzle eggs last year and I know for a fact they were fertile. But it turns out none of them hatched, and the person who received them was a veterinarian and told me it's probably because they didn't get enough oxygen during shipment (they only went to Canton). So I've been EXTREMELY cautious since then about sealing the bubble wrap completely around the eggs. Usually I wrap them as much as possible in paper products to allow for "breathing". So I put them in paper mache cartons and put a single layer of bubble wrap between the eggs and the lid to keep them still inside of the carton. Then I stuff shredded paper in the box as filler.
I'm really hoping yours hatch. I really, REALLY want to see the results of this color! Plus, it would prove that bubble wrap isn't as bad as the lady said, and I can use it again. (Although shredded paper really is cheaper since I'm always tossing junk mail in the shredder).
So I thought I had a free day today. WRONG. I forgot I told a friend of mine I'd help her cage some of her roos and ducks for the auction tomorrow. Oh, aaaand 2 of my white silkies that were gender ambiguous? Yeah. Both roos. The one with the small crest will be headed to the auction as well.
Ain't no rest for the wicked.
