YO GEORGIANS! :)

CarCar... I would have been more than happy to take your order. Except I was in the middle of TSC with GAM breathing down my neck to keep moving. I couldn't just keep sitting there on the deer food posting on my phone.

I wish the people selling me goose eggs were hurry their geeses up and then let me know my eggs are on the way.

*%$@!!! I have a problem with one of my hens that isn't getting better, but worse :(. This is my first serious chicken health crisis, and I need help -One of my Ameraucana hens has an impacted crop and it is not responding to conservative treatments (olive oil, light massage, extra grit, etc.). I believe she needs surgery, and since I do not have the money that our mobster vets around here want to treat "exotic pets", I will have to do this at home. I have seen several good videos, from forums on BYC etc. Has anyone tried this on their birds, and seriously -does anyone want to assist? I have a friend who is experienced with doggie stuff, and she will probably help, but I think I'd like more than two of us if we can manage it.

I'm almost positive that her crop is full of hay that I gave all the animals when we had the first really bad freezing weather. My project for the next week is cleaning out all coops and runs and putting in new shavings, and shavings only :(.

Lol! Oh yes. My brahmas are slow runners. They're so wide and fluffy. Plus they are so mild mannered, they just aren't in as much of a hurry as the others.

I'm so glad I got the brahma chicks now. Can't wait to see their fluffy adult selves :)

The Canada geese must have gotten wind of the future invasion by all of the duckies (and geese) ... they took off and have not yet returned. lol
