You are so right we all love our chickens! Well I hope and pray you find the right place for your family.

I have 1 roo 1 hen and four babies all Bantams. I am trying to find some Serama's here in ga. It's not that easy. lol What type of chickens do you have?
I have 2 Silkie Frizzle mix hens, 1 Silkie ? Smooth Feathered mix hen (very lovely), 1 D'Uccle pullet with a crooked beak 7 months, 6 Catdance chicks 10 weeks old (gorgeous), 2 white silkies pullets 7 months, 1 Blue with Gold leakage Roo 7 months, THEN we have 3 mystery 9 week old chicks...They came from eggs that were left at a bantam show. One is white have no clue what it is although my husband says it could be a white serema, one is black (thinking maybe serema) and one is partridge colored and maybe a Buff Braham or D'Uccle. Fun stuff here!!! Love them all.

Maybe you should try the Hartwell show next weekend and see if anyone has any Serema's for sale. I saw Gagirly posted that there was a show. She would probably have all the info on it. It's worth a try. There are always people selling at the shows. Get there very early for the best selection. Just FYI

I am in northeast georgia.Banks county/Habersham county line.I recently took a large flock and among them was a large number of silkie hens for a friend who had to move.I lost my frizzle cochin rooster that I wanted to put with them.Does anyone have a frizzle cochin rooster that is breeding age that you want to sell?Any color but black. Also want to buy a showgirl rooster, breeding age,any color. I posted here because I want to find someone close and not have to ship.

Hartwell show 12/8/12. Phone in entries (706) 436-7681 or email [email protected]. For other shows, the Monday before the show is the last day to phone or email entries. I did both last week just to make sure someone got them. If you don't get an answer on the phone, leave a message with your name, address, phone number, and name each chicken or duck by breed, variety and age (pullet or hen, cockerel or cock). It's being held at 504 Fairview Avenue in Hartwell. Probably starts at 9:00 am. I don't know how big it will be as there are also shows in NC and FL going on. I'm bringing 9 (d'uccles and old english game bantams). This is an all bantam show. I know a couple of people in GA that have seramas for sale if anybody wants contact info. There might be some for sale at this show. You never know what you will find. I've got d'uccle and old english chicks for sale if anybody's interested.
