Some show putting a heater in a flower pot inside the bucket to prevent winter freezing and wrapping the PVC. What size PVC did you use?

A light on a thermostat inside a cookie tin works.


A light only works but the thermostat saves power.

Laurens county is on the verge of being washed away both of my coops have been flooded, my silkie looks like a two legged drown rat, my sex links have refused to lay for 4 days now and my bantams the actual smart ones of the bunch have sought refuge in my shed but worst of all new coop construction has to stop till my lake of a back yard dries up

Mine is on the verge of it. Its been raining since late last night and has yet to cease. My poor hens and roo look like wet rats!

My coop and run stay pretty dry most of the time except around the edges, but I have standing water in it today...my poor girls have had to hitch their skirts up!
