Honey, I can't even remember to take birth control pills on time! I had to go with the shot where there is a 2-3 week window for me to remember the next one is due!

I tried hand-turning. But within 2 days I had already given up and got an egg turner! The next hardest part will be remembering to fill the water trays up after you've had them in there for a while.

Okay my fellow Georgians, anybody know where I can get some turkeys to raise for meat? Preferrably somewhere local. I'm in Northwest GA.

I haven't had chickens a year yet, and I'm already expanding to other poultry. *sigh*

I'm in the same boat! I've been stalking the local auction as well as the Byc auctions. At this point I'm willing to hatch now and have turkeys to process next year.

I've got hatching eggs for Sebastopol geese due any week now (the lady has to wait for them to start laying first), and I'm seriously considering a few peafowl eggs!
