So far all but a few of the eggs in the bator are showing development! I pulled one that was so porous I would never have been able to see in it. Plus the air cell was weird. I need a notebook....

I had the stomach flu last week and hubby was out of town. It was all I could do to get outside twice a day and check on everyone and feed horses/clean stalls. Awful. I would really have been desperate if one of chickens had gone missing. Best of luck.

My silver phoenix. He's already got tail feathers dragging the ground, but the mud from recent rains hasn't let them stay in good shape.
Okay. Went through and candled all the eggs. All but 2 show development!! @LTygress, ALL of the eggs I got from you look great! Ooohhh the excitement! Chick picks in less than 3 weeks!

I plan to get pics of all my chickies soon. I've got 8 left from NYD hatch, 15 in the box brooder (some were from LTygress) and then in a couple weeks new babies!!!
No pics, just teasing. I love baby pics. I love pics in general lol. My egg is lookin great! Moving now...just amazing. Will try to post pics on the other thread later it wasn't cooperative with photo or video today! Body is visible and the eye is bigger, following daily development is amazing
My EE is a good momma with the 4 silkie eggs. I won't candle them for a few more days yet. Glad she isn't a crazy broody one... I check her every day and pet her tell her what a good girl she is. I will make her cinnamon apple oatmeal and a half banana today. Gotta make a nest for the RIR to lay in....Lucy bitches because Helen won't get outta the nest they share lol!
