Just popping in to share my excitement over my very first egg! Only took my ladies 9 MONTHS to start, hahaha.

Congratulations! Will you be eating it, or collecting it for hatching? (we have spring fever already and the hatching madness spreads easily, lol!)

Ok, so you know how when you color eggs for easter and you soak them long enough that when you crack them open the egg white has absorbed some of the color? Can you do the same thing with hatching eggs and get purple and green and blue chicks? I only ask because y'all talk about writing on the eggs. I just keep imagining chicks coming out with dates on their butts.
