Here we go. Got the first eggs in the incubator. And my hubby has instructions to start building me a new brooder this weekend.

Good grief, are ducks ever messy. Just let 4 "little" ones hang out in the bathtub for a while. It's going to take a pressure washer and professional/industrial chemicals to get that tub (and bathroom) clean again.

So the neighbor gave me two 2x4's to raise the net on the chicken pen again so they could go back in it. I took them and fixed it right up. THEN my nephew decides he wants to go ahead and cut that tree down.

So I cleaned out the brooder today. The babies were not sure what to do once they were outside. So, they slept in the food dish. Smh. Silly birds.
