Crickets are their favorite treats, and you've NEVER seen a funnier sight than watching big old Skeeter running across the yard trying to chase a jumping cricket!
 
That's one of those that I will wait to see what yours look like, and what their eggs look like. He didn't show any pics of their eggs, so I'm wondering if they are much lighter than a normal Maran, or if they are the same color.

Then again, I didn't see any lavender adults either - only the pic of the black ones.
