YO GEORGIANS! :)

I know you shouldn't "count your chickens before they hatch", but OH NO! I might need a new coop -or two (coop building party, anyone?).  I just did some real math (not chicken math), and I have 16 birds at the farm, 10 in the brooder, 12 in the hatcher for Friday, and 11 in the incubator (someone canceled an order of hatching eggs, so I stuck them in the incubator -reflex, lol). I could be looking at a total of 49 birds to feed and house if hatches/brooding go well?! Ohhhh I hope hubby doesn't count anytime soon; and I was considering adding a few Light Brahmas to see how I liked them... Hahaha!!

I don't think I'll add up bunnies, until I go check nest boxes today ;)

Hello, I'm fairly close to you in Tyrone. What type of chicks do you have/are you expecting and are you selling any? I'm currently building a new breeder/brooder building and will have extra room in my hen house for "pretty egg" chickens lol. I'm hoping to find some true ameraucanas and a pink egg layer. :)

Hey! I'm in Tyrone, GA just south of the airport. I have LF Cochins too - BBS and whites. There don't seem to be many LF's in Georgia...not that I can find anyway. What varieties do you have?

Hi, I'm in Tyrone, just west of Peachtree City. I have LF Cochins, Silkies, and am just getting started with Sizzles. What do you raise?

LF Cochin?! Ooohhhhh. I may have just found someone else to swap eggs/chickies with.....

Lol. I'm sure we can arrange something. Whatcha got? My birds are young and just started laying about 6 weeks ago but every egg I've checked in the last two weeks has been fertile. Breeding pens are being built now so I'll know what we're getting :) .

I have silkies, FBCM, barnyard mix up, and a pair of Lav AMs. I also have an AM/EE (she's an Ameracuana but not an accepted color) who is currently with the Marans but will move in with the AMs later on.
