K, so my screen arbor had an expected delivery date on Amazon.com of March 6th.

It's March 5th. It hasn't even REALLY been shipped yet. It is "in transit to carrier facility" meaning Amazon has done their electronic shipping labels, and that's it.

Think it'll be here on March 6th? HA!

I've ordered stuff in the evening and gotten it next day.

So the Dallas TSC had chicks today. I sent a picture to carcar so she can post it if she logs on (and actually notices my post) and we can all play the "Guess the breed" game. I'll give you a hint: They were black with lighter colored spots on their heads and they were LOUD. We didn't buy any.

Okay, got some pics this time! Just turned the goose eggs, and this is what I see. It's not THAT good, but you can see the "red spider" I'm talking about (red dot with blood vessels coming from it in different directions).

And, I was at Cartersville TSC today and they were covered up with chicks also. I didn't spend a lot of time, but I saw lots of solid yellow chicks and the the "red pullets"..

Barred rocks. Definitely. The yellow spot is caused by the barring trait. No clue why, but that's definitely what it is.

One person claimed they were Barred Rock Pullets and another said they were Red Rock Pullets. Who knows.
