So I saw on the CSRA Hobby Farmer FB page there is a class for candling at the end of March. Is it a difficult class? I've never candled before. I didn't even know I needed to take the class if I was going to sell eggs when my girls start laying. I also think it's a pretty interesting thing to learn.

Are there other classes/licenses that I need if I sell eggs?

Ahh, so how long does it take from the time you put the eggs in the baton to hatch?

My chicks crack me up, they sleep on thier stomach with thier feet out behind them, like my dogs lol

About 21 days for chickens. 28 days for most ducks. These are all chickens.

Ya I can't wait to have tiny chicks. All mine had always been 2-3 weeks old or older by the time I got them.

These Buffs are pretty big for chicks. I have had them for a week and wow the have doubled in size

Are they Orpingtons? Cute little things. I had one BO pullet but that's it. I've thought of getting some lavender orps someday. The Roos are gorgeous.

Yes they are Buff Orpingtons. They are cute as heck. Hopefully I have at least one roo out of six
