Linda, if my SLWs turn out to be all girls, I'd love to take him off your hands

No problem. I am holding out hope that it's a girl. :) I've looked at pics of SLW hens and they seem to have more of a flat red comb.... We'll see.

Banks County GA here,

~~Hi! I have several Buff Rocks and a few Buff Orpingtons and they are all female. I need to find a rooster that is compatible with my hens that is still young but at least 5-6 months old, with a decent disposition. I live in the Northeast Georgia area, near Commerce, Cornelia and hope I can find someone nearby that has too many Roosters and would like to find a home for them. If anyone has one, please let me know. Thank you so much!

Tracy

And where is @mrsdszoo? I haven't heard a peep since Saturday.

Aww, you missed me :). I'm exhausted from supervising this water line installation (still not done, and yet another glitch, but what's one more at this point...). Also, both big kids went back to their respective colleges today, so I'm worn out from dealing with the house full. I've skimmed the thread a few times but not had time to respond :(. I will be glad to get back to a normal-ish routine tomorrow.

Oh, and I made some flipping awesome rabbit yesterday, in spite of the chaos. Mr. Zoo actually complimented it -several times. The rabbits gained farm cred.

Well. At least something got accomplished. I'm finishing the hoop coop tomorrow (I hope). And I let the pullet I got the auction out today. She is small! And she looks like a black laced wyandotte. She was also freaked out by free ranging. Apparently they don't do that where she comes from.

She is showing in the "viewing now" box.

I've (on more than one occasion) logged in from my phone in between craziness only to get distracted and leave the window in the background of the phone unattended. Darn kids and Mr. Zoo need a lot of supervision ;).
