YO GEORGIANS! :)

SO cool!! I love their names :)

I told everyone on the goose forum that if they survived, they were going to get those names. I let them do a 15-minute cooling/misting session one day... for six hours straight. (Yeah so much for the 15-minute rule.) Plus all three had detached air cells. So I said if they actually manage to hatch, they'll be named Miracle, Hope, and Wonder! ALL THREE successfully survived and hatched, so they got those names!

That's great!

And now time to end this roller coaster day with some sleep! I have to be awake early to force-food a rooster...

And play with my new gossie babies! They went into the brooder, and fluffed up. So I'll get good pics tomorrow!

@mrsdszoo I'm ready to show him off! (Obviously). What time were you planning on coming down?

After dropping the peanut off at the sitters and feeding/watering critters; so probably between 11-12. I'm so excited, I HAVE WATER at the farm!! I was able to refill raterers today without making a trip home for more water :). It was so fast (comparatively).

Evening, all!

The handsome husband and I spent the afternoon working on the new coop. It still needs some trimwork and the run needs to be built, but we stuck the 12 red rangers in it for the night (with a light). We'll see how they fare tomorrow. They stink and I needed them out of the basement!

I have 12 eggs in the incubator and this round at lockdown, my temp and humidity are holding steady (99 degrees and 65% humidity.)

I'm going to go watch a movie with aforementioned handsome husband now. :)

Hope everyone has a great week and congrats on the geese and turkey babies!

Hurray for a stink-free basement -and a movie night with a handsome husband :)

Sorry, I had to FIND the phone that takes good pics, first. I took one earlier and forgot where I left the phone. But here they are...... :-D

Who needs a rooster!  Get you some eggs!  There are a lot of folks that would probably give you some (or for cheap!)

I would find eggs somewhere, I just don't want to hatch roosters. I can't add many more animals, but I want a BO, a SLW, a GLW, a Mille Fluer, a Lavendar orphington, and some silkies. Given what I want, I'll probrably just get chicks, I'm not patient enough to wait for the eggs to hatch either though! Oh and I want some ducks and that is just birds, I want plenty more 4 legged animals

And plenty of folks that would take any roos that you may end up hatching.

I know, but given the variety I want, I would be buying eggs everywhere so if my family lets me get anymore birds, I'll probably just get some baby chicks

Wow. I was impatient watching the fast version! how on earth am I going to handle incubation?? :th
I know, I would just stare at them all day long
