He's actually here in my room. I'm just trying to keep him on as natural of a schedule as possible. So I kept the lights off in my room (nothing on but the computer) and waited for daylight outside. Now that I can see, I gave him food and water. I actually took a cheap plastic spoon and kinda dumped a bunch of chick crumbles into his mouth. He didn't spit any of it out, so that's a GREAT sign. Then I gave him four full eyedroppers of water.

This afternoon, I'm going to take one of these milk gallons out of the freezer (they were given to us through my sister's work place ON their expiration date) and cook it to make some yogurt for him. I'm giving him penicillin shots every day to prevent infection in that head wound, so he'll need the probiotics too.

And in case there's any doubt, now people know my animals really do get better treatment than I do! I've been walking around with a toothache for three weeks since I have no dental insurance. But this guy gets penicillin shots and premium home-made yogurt! LOL!

Yeah I saw that one. The one I posted this morning was a "child's play house". One of those plastic things that sits outside for kids to play in with it's own door and window. PERFECT chicken coops...
