YO GEORGIANS! :)

First, let me say that I am so very sorry about Robo's duck and CD 's rooster. Those are difficult situations, and it's never easy to lose critters that you care so much about.

Second, our house guest had to cancel last minute, so that's good. I have a ton of stuff to do this weekend. I got my husband to clean that room though, so no harm done!

Third, I took a baby bunny to Wal-Mart and to Zaxby's in a purse; I may have a problem ;)

Fourth, .....

.....one of the turkey girls started laying again today! :weee :woot :celebrate

The scalp itself was off. It exposed his skull and those ligaments. But I applied gauze with tons of petroleum jelly on it to keep the wound moist, twice a day. The self-adhesive bandaging held the gauze on.

The self-adhesive bandaging came loose. The gauze didn't stay up against his head, so the wound absorbed the last of the vaseline on just the wound, and dried up. There was a lot of the vaseline left on the gauze.
I understand. It was a good thing you had going. I know you are sick over it. :(

Bunny addict! I call dibs on turkey eggs!

By the way, the text worked.. Ended up with a big fat filet, grilled to medium perfection, with a baked potato, steamed broccoli and sautéed mushrooms.

:clap

Speaking of rabbits. How particular are y'all about the food you feed them? Anything from Southern States ok? Or Purina Rabbit Chow? Or organic homemade nothing but theyour best?

I generally use the Purina Pro from TSC, but I try to mix in Southern States so that if one or the other feed has a recall or production issue, I don't have to worry so much about tummy issues from a sudden switch. You almost ready to pick out your bunny(ies)? We have some nice kits between AB's and my bunnies.

Bunny in a purse? ROFL!

Abmad ... don't you be hoarding turkey eggs, now. I'm next in line behind you.
