YO GEORGIANS! :)

Hey! I was snapping some ground-level pics of Olive today, just messing around. I just remembered them.. They turned out pretty neat! I was TRYING to get her to peck at something right at the lens, but she wouldn't. Of all the times NOT to be annoying, lol.

How old is the chicken? Ive read of babies dropping dead like in the sunshine then get up shortly after. Older bird maybe heatstroke? We had 91 yesterday where im at so anything is possible. Dehydration? Bring into a cooler area and provide water. Hope it perks up. Maybe others can offer help too.

My chicks will be 5 weeks tomorrow. It was one of my barred rocks. All my chicks have been vaccinated for Merck's when I purchased them from Meyer hatchery. They were also only outside about 30 minutes before this happened.

Anyway I put her inside alone in the brooder and when my daughter checked on her about 20 minutes later she was up on the roost I have in there and she seems fine now.

My son said she flew out of his hands and landed on the ground. So maybe some sort of injury? But it was a quick recovery. I have 2 barred rocks and I'm not sure which one it was now... Maybe I should have marked her or something.
