YO GEORGIANS! :)

Question:

How do you tell your chickens apart if you have more than 1 of the same breed. I can tell my EEs and speckled sussex(because one has curled toes) apart but my buff Orpingtons, barred rocks, white rocks, etc I can't tell them apart. Does it get easier once they are older?

My girls are 5 weeks.

Well, with my two "matching" BSL, Olive has more even copper to her hackles.. She's also bigger and if all that fails, Olive has a darkened spot on her comb, close to her face. She's also like a big dog, while the other is more like a chicken.

I think if you look at them every day, you probably know. Especially as they grow up and maybe get little things (minor injuries, etc) that might set them apart.
