YO GEORGIANS! :)

No this is not a new breed of chicken, this is Conan our Cat/Dog who acts like both and when not hunting can be found hanging out with our 3 dogs. Conan is also my official chicken coop inspector. Yesterday Conan was inspecting the Polish coop after I hung the nest box curtains. He gave it a tail up (if you know cats, when their tail is straight up they are happy).

It is a tom. lol

I'll have to get some better shots. The blue and red that he gets is (normal, I know but ...) gorgeous.

The neighbor was "talking" to him yesterday. And when the roosters all are crowing around it is occasionally interrupted by the distinct gobble, gobble, gobble.

My babies are in Atlanta!
*Dances*

As long as they made it to Atlanta alive, I know they'll be okay the rest of the way. I know everyone who will handle them from now until I get them, and I've already threatened all of them if they cause my chicks any harm! So my chickies are in good careful hands now.

Unfortunately, I'll be reporting to work the same time they arrive at the post office. But my sister is following me up there, and she'll get them and bring them home for me.

I'm coming to see him. :)

Can you feed and water everybody while you're there? Pretty sure the nest boxes need to be cleaned, too. And if you could cut the grass, that'd be great.

Quote: Actually, I'm thinking of copying your roof design for Chicken Taj Mahal. And actually the little zookeeper was still too busy with her own agenda, as she had been while we were on the phone, to talk much. She had swinging to do, pine cone gathering to feed the bunnies, and there were vegetables to plant. And I think she might have also thought we were there to take all the animals. But we really do need to get her and GAMjr together for a play date.

And build a fence, and a chicken coop, and another fence (1 pasture fence and 1 chicken pen) and I will just text you a list so you have it on your phone. I'd hate for you to forget anything. And make sure it's done before we get back from our north Georgia excursion. Thanksbuncheskbye.
