Thanks for the condolences guys, but I feel like a jerk for not blocking that door yesterday. I stayed with the soggy kids until they had all eaten their fill (they may have been in the run for a good while, they were starving when I put them back into the coop), had a good drink, and I watched them all snooze for a bit before going back for more food, or having a good preen. No one was shivering, and all were perking up -thank goodness. Just FYI, that coop I crawled into is much easier to get into than it is to get out of :p.
 
@RoboDuck here's some pics of my SLW's. They are about a month old now. One chick has yet to feather out yet, 4 of them are black with white stripes on the feathers, and one has lots of white. The one with all the white has the largest reddest comb. I'm hopeful I have 1 male & at least 4 females.

Interesting. I have three AMs about that same age. Let me preface this by I have never even tried to sex a chick before. Anyway, I feather sexed them after hatching and suspected one boy and two girls. This is the comb of the suspected roo a few days ago at about 10-12 days old.

I see three rows. The other two do not have even one row as clear. However with the EEs may be different depending on what breeds they are mixed with, right??

Yes, your mostly white chick is a male. The males will have a black neck band. The females will have lace.
