YO GEORGIANS! :)

Oh my gosh. I fall asleep while the little zookeeper is watching TiVo'd episodes of her favorite show (and I'm logged in here), and the next thing I know I'm looking at the end credits for "Up" and all heck has broken out here!

WelCome new peeps

I'm southeast of Atlanta and I will admit to being very fond of chickens, but crazy about rabbits.

@ChickDancer
What's your work schedule again this week? I'm going to be cruising around Griffin tomorrow; any chance you could meet out near there to transfer eggs - maybe even late afternoon? I have 14 so far. When do you need them by again?

I don't need them until Saturday/Sunday. But I'm working all week except Sunday.

If you think you might be around Jackson on Saturday, you can just drop them off here at the house. Someone will be here, I'm sure, and they can put them with the "stack" of cartons.

I have 26 so far. Yesterday was good to me.

Good morning all !! Feeling much better this morning after a few days with a mean stomach bug. Dh is home for the second day with it. Will be cleaning and disinfecting this morning, Then to get some wheat straw for the run. I have missed so much!

Welcome to all the new comers

Still have a broody girl if anyone wants to hatch out some eggs.....

How is everyone doing??

@ChickenDancer How is Miss Lola doing????

So you're saying it's possible Robo is aggravating enough to make one lay an egg??

Just an observation. Carry on...

I totally snorted my coffee after reading this... :gig

GAM- what exactly WAS his pickup line with you? And how much wine HAD you had?

I keep telling you people, she's Canadian and didn't know any better. That is why she was in the clearance section of the mail order bride magazine.

it's very obvious I missed an awesome conversation last night ;)

I am too! Cumming, GA
Welcome! Gordon Co here :frow
Put my new little Runner Duck in with 2 week old chicks. Seems to be holding her own. In a few days, she will be bigger than they are so they better be nice to her! LOL
Cute!! That chick to the far right, with the long tail - that's a female, isn't it? I haven't tried feather sexing my chicks, but I've noticed a few of them, mostly the dark colored chicks, have long tails like your chick. I'm thinking those are females. Anyone else been able to sex chicks by their tails?
