YO GEORGIANS! :)

Who has them?? I can't seem to find any locally. I am in dire need so I can build my coop and get my fledglings outside. They are getting so big and flighty! I would appreciate any direction to crates or pallets. I can't afford to buy lumber. Reclaimed wood is great for all projects. Anyone that can help me PM me!!

It seems an owl has decided that it likes the buffet at the farm. Dagnabit. 3 ducks gone now. (2 pekins and 1 mutt) The neighbors actually heard the owl last night. So it seems that I will be spending a good bit of tomorrow running more avian interference lines, etc.

And why is it only killing/eating ducks? Because they are the only "Captive Cuisine" that is too stupid to be getting under/into some kind of cover. Argh!!!

(I was going to be getting some new Khaki Campbells this weekend to replace the ones the dogs killed at the house but now I'm not sure if I should until I have this situation under control.

Our cat, Smoky, had kittens today. When would it be ok to hold them.

Whenever Smoky isn't feeding them :). If Smoky is a housecat that likes you, there isn't any biological reason not to hold them gently as long as she's not stressed and you aren't keeping them from nursing or sleeping.

And I can't help but notice that she has failed to mention her new found bounty of large wooden crates suitable for making brooders and small animal cages. I think she is holding out on y'all.

There he goes, stirring the pot again...but I've got good news too and will just say "nice score GAM!" :)

So I'm not sure if I should let Robo have the fun of telling y'all or not ...

WHAT?! It's been 34 minutes, for the love of fowl -spill!

Ack; just lost a long post I was working on to tell y'all fun news :(

I think I'm over tired, so I'll save it for tomorrow morning, before I start another big day (we all seem to be having them; I think the sunshine has done us some good).

Goodnight.
