I've got to get things done so that i can go get my duckies, then start the rest of the adventures for the day. Make way for ducklings

That isn't far from me! However we are going out of town to drop our teen off a ways away for her spring break adventure and we can't make this one. Will it happen again soon?

Hi! Once in spring and again in fall. It's always a blast. They have raffles / door prizes all afternoon.
Here is a basket of soap I'm donating.

Hey DDD, How have you been?? My NNs from you have given me lots of fun babies and lots of green/blue eggs! Love those little NNs.....especially the frizzles! Father to this one was 1/2 leghorn and 1/2 crested cream legbar. She is older now and at POL. Can't wait to see what color eggs I get from her!
Hi! Great! How adorable! that sounds like an awesome combination for blue eggs : )

Woo hoo I am soooo excited!

I have been trying to find a bantam hen as a companion for my 7 month old OEG Bantam hen. Had NO luck finding a single hen and also was a bit worried about buying from Craigs List or an auction(diseases and all).

Just about gave up then decided to call the local GA leader of the OEG Bantam club.

Guess what! He said "Yeah come on over I can give you a couple of hens, just take a look around and see what you like" He is NPIP certified and breeds for show! Amazing! I am so excited and now I can find her a little friend or two her own size from a reputable safe breeder!

So that is what I am doing tomorrow!

That is wonderful!!!!! Please keep us posted!

Had SO much fun getting chicks with my friend!! She got two Brahmas, a Speckled Sussex, a heritage RIR and a BR. What a beautiful box of cuteness!

I pointed out to hubby, this was my SECOND trip to the farm without buying a thing. That counts for something, right?? ;)
