YO GEORGIANS! :)

Partridge Brahma from papa.. Ugh. The only consolation is, at this point I already have two that are laying.. BUT it would be nice to not have totally wasted my money, AND to have new blood.
Sounds like you need to make a trip down here so I can hatch them for you.

I seem to be getting awesome hatch rates compared to everyone else. I just seem to be losing my own birds to predators! Bad housing for young and full adults, great hatch rates. Now if I can just get the eggs laid before the predators took the parents, I'd be good (like with the silkies - I have 8 eggs in the bator, two babies, all from the white hen and roo, and lost my one white roo to a predator).

So... just make sure you come back to pick them up right after they hatch! LOL!

Heck, there are times I am completely lost with some of the chatter. Example: I know nothing about hatching, but I still enjoy reading what you all have to say and if I'm bored or am lost, I'll post something random. Like the post yesterday about the mean rooster being rehomed for $150.

Help! Someone tell me there is a chance that my first hatch is not 3/3 boys! Please?

#3 looks pullet-ish to me. But then the picture is almost too close and kinda fuzzy.

When I saw the smaller version though, it looked like a pullet.

I'm still laughing at that, by the way. $150 for any rooster is INSANE.

Even phoenix roosters only go for about $100, and they're FRIENDLY and show-quality.
