YO GEORGIANS! :)

Question: I have a hen with 9 chicks who will be 8 weeks old soon. Can I take them from her to give away without her freaking out? Should I wait longer? I want to make this as least stressful on her as possible.

You know you live in GA when the GPS just gives up! LOL It told us to park and walk to our destination. My husband and I laughed so so hard. There was a driveway but I guess the GPS doesn't recognize it as such. That would have been a wet walk tonight too! Anyway, dropped off some eggs and glad to be helpful.

I still can't believe it wanted you to park and walk. Haha that would have been a long walk down my driveway. :) thanks again for the eggs. I can't wait to see these babies! The countdown is on!

If you need a Maran Roo let me know! :) I have one that is 7 weeks and will be needing a home! I might also need to find homes for Blue Ameraucana Roo and Lavender Ameraucana Roo that are 8 weeks old. Still not certain they are Roos though yet so not yet ready to part with them as they are so pretty! LOL

Does anyone know if there is a lab close to Atlanta that does a free necropsy?
there are 3 outside Atlanta, I drove to one that was north near cumming and dropped off my bird.Google poultry lab of Georgia to find the address.

Hw do you warn them not to? Is that for real? I have 3 all crowing :(

True story, I told him my DH would get rid of him if he crowed, but not sure why he really stopped crowing. May be because he is the only male in there except the big runner duck who is the peace keeper. He is younger than most the hens/pullets (28) in the coop and they were chasing/pecking him off. Maybe he is just trying to not be noticed right now until he is bigger. But he is about 4-5 months old now. Could he just be 'hen pecked'? Lol.
