. Hello all been a while since I've posted been busy working just thought I'd post my weeks worth of eggs I never believed I'd be getting this many during the winter but I an thankful for them they go good in my wife's homemade pecan pies
 
Speaking of roosters, Crowey McCrowerton started up at dusk tonight. I gingerly lifted him from his roost spot, marched his butt to the pole barn, made him a hay bed inside a dog carrier...

Put the CARRIER inside the wood coop, and covered the door of it with an empty feed sack. He had plenty of grumbles for me during all that- lol!

Poor Crowey ... he's going to die a slow and miserable death. You'll forget all about him and he'll be in there quietly counting first the hours, then the days.
