Awe shoot! I kept checking my broody and started worrying, then checked my record book. The chicks aren't due until late Fri and early Saturday! I had originally wanted to set them for a Thursday hatch, then changed it to Friday. My mind just was wishful thinking on the earlier date! Bummer! Sitting on pins and needles! Ouch!

Well that's just perfect because now we'll BOTH have babies this weekend!

I KNOWWW!! I'm SICK of raising the lamp.. Lowering the lamp.. Seeing the light under the bedroom door all night.. LOL

Okay so it's not that bad, but I think these are neat!

My hubby fixed our brooder so the lamp stays put but has a dimmer switch on it to raise and lower temp. Works great but it's still a brooder lamp...
