I love my JRT, have I told y'all that? I've not yet fed him so I'm having quite the time seeing my phone right now. He's laying on my arms and has his nose on mine.

I didn't know you had a JRT or at least I don't remember you mentioning him. But then again I have a bad memory. I love my JRT too. She is old and mostly lays around except when it comes to eating time, then she is very serious.

Awww I didn't know you had one either! Mine will be 3 in July but he's laid back when we are, and ready to play when we are. I picked him from a big litter based on the fact he was NOT a spaz, but also not asleep in the corner. The balance has proven to remain true.

Is yours short or standard? Mine is short.

Is there anyone here who has removef a (bumblefoot?) foot abcess before? Just curious about recovery. My friend and I got all the stuff today to do it, but I want to have a full plan first.

LOL! Shes short legged. She turned 15 this month. We found her or I should say she found us when she was about 5 months old. Some people had her tied up to a tree and she got loose. I found her hiding under our cars. We took her to our then vet and he said she wasn't treated well that if I wanted her she was mine and he would be on our side if anyone tried to take her from us.

Her name is Jackie and she is rotten! She has done great with our chickens.

Jackie is precious!! She reminds me of my Pepper.. He was my pound rescue- he got killed by the neighbor's dog after we moved here. Cody is my hole-in-the-heart filler from that.

I had a BO with bumblefoot. I just pulled the scab off and got all the pus out. I put peroxide on it to clean it out then put some antibiotic ointment on it and covered the foot with vetrap. I cleaned it for several days and it healed.

Did the vetrap stay on okay? Or did you keep her up for a few days? I tried pulling at the scan and did remove some but this is deep and tight.
