Nelson update He is quite the husband sticking close to Helen and they are happy building their home together. ( got these birds from the swap) Pics soon to follow it's too cold and rainy and I'm such a wimp. But The newly weds seem to love their new home and I have let them venture out into the yard to free range, Big Red and Nelson seem to have an understanding you stay on your side with your girls and I will stay on mine, So there is harmony once again in the valley.
 
I'm near Athens and need some layers because something killed most of my layerss last week. Anyone close to Athens selling or giving any away?? Thanks!!:cd
 
Oh that really stinks, ML. Sorry that happened. I'm no help to you on the replacement birds. Sorry.
 
Oh well the duck and the 2 healthy chicks trampled the poor hurt EE to death. Duckie went to a new home this morning and EE went to the big flock in the sky. Here's the 2 ugly rascals i am left with.





 
So would anyone want to swap two RIR and BO's chicks for Naked Necks, EEs, Salmon Faverolles, or Brahmas?
