But NOOOOOOOOO..... you're just like everyone else and just skim right past my amazingly brilliant, funny, charming, witty, intelligent, thought provoking, educating posts. I have noticed that much of my best material has gone unnoticed. That's ok. I like GAMjr better anyway so I'll just take her to the movies and shopping.

Oh well the duck and the 2 healthy chicks trampled the poor hurt EE to death. Duckie went to a new home this morning and EE went to the big flock in the sky. Here's the 2 ugly rascals i am left with.
CliffB, are those red sex link chicks? Wow, the darker chick is feathering much faster? I didn't realize the difference in feathering to be so prominent. Thanks for the tip.

I was just about to go to bat for you, Robo. I saw that post. I thought you were going with them!

Anyone have tips for sexing 4+ week old AMs? I would think feathering would tip it off but breeder says she's always just guessing

Are they true Ameraucanas? If so, look for the three rows of 'peas' in their pea comb. Boys will have the three rows, girls will just have one smooth ridge. If they are EEs, all bets are off!

They are and I thought of the comb thing while I was looking at them. There were so many and it was freezing. I just grabbed five. We'll see what it looks like when I get home. I did glance at some combs but couldn't tell but subtle differences. Even in her older ones :/

My son is heartbroken. He wanted a rabbit and daddy said no lol. BRAT! (The boy, not the dad)

Here are some comb comparisons. They talk about sexing EEs, but I have had chicks who had definite 3 rows of peas, and they ended up being female, so I am saying, it is more accurate if they are Ameraucanas.
