YO GEORGIANS! :)

valleychicks hows the baby?
Our Granddaughter, Aurora Grace is doing great! She was a little jaundice yesterday so she had to go under the light but she is doing great now. Danielle (her mom, our daughter) got to hold her for 30 minutes at a time today and have skin to skin time with her. Here are a few pictures.

Oh valleychicks so beautiful both of your girls, I love baby pics and so glad they are doing so great and I had to go under the lights for the billirubin (the enzyme the liver makes and builds up and the light breaks it down) and they may tell her to put the baby by a window to get some light when she gets home but no worries there.

Ok, so I like the guy and his set up. He has geese and ducks all over the place. There must've been 50 or more geese and dozens of muscovy ducks. You had to be careful where you walked to avoid stepping on eggs. And he has some awesome chickens. We just looked around and talked to him until we ran out of daylight. We're going back tomorrow to actually pick out some birds to buy. We are probably going to get a lavender and a chocolate muscovy ducks to go with our new boys. It's going to be hard to not spend next month's mortgage while we''re there.

Katsdar, what color NN did you get? And, the yellow chick.....I hatched one out last time and got a frizzled Easter Egger! So, maybe yours will be frizzled, too! My NN's are a blue regular feathered NN and I have a white frizzled NN. Can't wait to see them! My eggs have not done anything in this new little mini incubator! I did pull one out and candled it,. I think it had pipped internally and I think I saw movement, so maybe they are still ok and just need more time.
It is probably from this one: My kids call her 'Toupe" She is one of my sweetest hens! Her eggs are green.
