YO GEORGIANS! :)

I STILL cannot believe I have a broody. After ALL I've wasted.. My entire batch of shipped MFD.. I was SO wishing someone would brood for those. Silly girl. I'll be interested to see what she does over the next few days.

Guess I could just give her chicks? Cause I DANG sure ain't giving her any eggs! LOL

I have been checking into a man in temple that builds chicken coops Waynes Custom coops .After everyone here has given me a million reasons why they can't build a coop right now it has come to this The one I am looking at is 8x12 is that enough for 20 chickens.

Meanwhile I have two broody Silkies that won't stop. They've both already hatched a number of chicks (from other birds) and still they sit on more.

One of Robo's geese is confirmed broody now ... day 3 now, I think. And the other is nesting. Not sure if she is laying yet or not. We have some of our goose eggs in the incubator and some under the one goose. Hoping for lots more.

Awesome Feed & Seed in Dallas has a couple of coops available.

I personally wouldn't keep 20 in my 8x12. But that's me. I like my birds to have plenty of room because they don't get to free range unless I'm home. I have five big birds in there now. I MIGHT would do 3-5 more depending on flock dynamic but that'd be pushing it.

Honestly I hope this girl will break over the next day or so. I need eggs from her!!! But her screech was something fierce, LOL. And that egg under her was HOT. She didn't appear to be faking it.. We shall see.

Will it also have a run or is this going to be the entire living area. I would think that 8x12 is a little tight for 20 chickens, without a run.
