YO GEORGIANS! :)

Floor joists went in today. The wall with the nest box is framed and temporarily in place. Yesterday, I was terrified of the framing nailer.

Some background: I am extremely clumsy, break toes just getting out of bed. If you've never known anyone who can start a story with "This one time, when I got caught on fire at a party...", you do now.
Well, like I said, I WAS afraid of the framing nailer, but NOT ANYMORE!!!

It was pretty awesome. DH still has both eyes and no holes in him, no trips to Piedmont Newnan with my foot nailed to a board. It was a good day. So now, the goal is to get it done as quickly and safely as possible. And the bonus will be if I can make it one full year without ending up in the ER, again. I have 22 more days to go.

Who needs CCL hatching eggs. I can bring some to the swap if someone is interested. I've also got some mixed chicks that are about 4 weeks old, they are mostly Olive Eggers. Some are CCL X Welsummer and some are Maran x EE.

I also have some NN mix hatching eggs.
Bring me a dozen hatching eggs just what ever you get but please make sure I get some CCL's and I'll take some of your OE's and well lets say 8 chicks now how much do I owe you, if your too expensive I may have to reduce my order

Your talking about the swap at Robo's right cause that is the one I'm talking about and the only one I can come to right now.

ep you not that far from me ,what kind of fowl do you have??

I'm the newbie. I just got 4 Buff Orpingtons. Named them after The Golden Girls. Dorothy turned out to be a rooster.

We are building the coop right now. Hoping to have them in their new home next week some time. And then we are going to immediately expand the flock so that I can get another Dorothy, keep the roo ( one of my favorites) and add about 3 new birds of different breeds. For now...

you and I should get along great, really! At one point in time, my wife knew ALL the ER doctors. Funny that on one trip to the hospital, the doctor came in and said he thought he knew me from somewhere

I told him, yeah, duhhhhh........he didn't think it was there until I gave him dates when he was the attending ER Doc.........He went and checked my file, and came back and told me it WAS, LOL

as for the framing nailer, when we built our new coop, my 4 year old grand daughter, who is Papa's helper on everything, always had to pull the trigger on the nail gun. And it was ALWAYS make her jump, even though she was doing it, HA she's a doll. y'all should get to meet her this weekend!

How much do you want for CCL eggs? I may be interested.
I'm going to Robo's on the 2nd but I can't go to TSC on the 9th already booked for quilting stuff, yep I do love something besides chickens
Good! If you want me to bring you a boy just let me know. I'll also have Partridge Brahma chicks and some olive pullets (and cockerels).. But don't wanna drag them all over for nothing. If anyone wants anything let me know. And the older cockerels I have are two BR and two BCM so if anyone wants those.. Flower your pullet and GAM your two pullets..
