A long time ago there was an egg color chart (n + x = b sort of thing) on here. Does anyone have it saved or have an easy way to find it? Thanks

Thinking about getting a new bator. One corner of my 3 year old circulated air Styrofoam bator is cooler than the rest so I leave it empty, hand turn now cuz the auto turner motor went out after reviving it with oil several times this past year. Don't want to buy replacement parts if it costs the same as getting a new one altogether.

I really wanted raised beds and I am wishing I had done that this year instead of breaking up the ground! It was like rocks breaking that up! Arm and shoulders killing me. Next year will be raised beds! I will need to keep a look out for cheap rail road ties to collect.

You might want to rethink the RR ties if you are going to use for raised beds. I was planning on it, we have a bazillion of them on the property that previous owners sunk in the ground to use as fence posts(but never putt up the fencing). I went to an organic gardening class at a local farm and asked about using them for beds and he told me not to use them. They contain creosote and it is toxic if you are planting anything that you plan to eat. I was bummed, because we have so many and they'd cost nothing to chop em down and use them.

Who was it in this forum that went to a metal place in Peachtree City a while back? Do you remember the name of the place so I can find it? We need to get our hands on a buttload of hardware cloth. PTC is only about 18 miles from us at most. We also need to replace the metal roof on the pool pump house and the workshop.
