I had this problem with pasty butt ,Take a very warm wet wash clothe hold thete little butt on it then do the other one that way it can soften up for you then go back to the first chick with fresh warm clothe it will come of f2f easy then go to second chick doing the same then blow dry slightly dont cutt or put chick back with butt wet as the other chicks will see something wrong with their little rear and peck on them.

I have not had a problem with chicks pecking at each other yet. I had a FBCM chick I think was a roo because of size was two days older than my little isbar who was really weak before he passed but was never picked on. I must have gotten lucky I guess.

My hatch for this weekend is finally winding down. 16/19 eggs (84%) have hatched. I put the last three eggs in the mini bator to see if they are just late bloomers, but I didn't see any movement so not holding my breathe. Of the 16, 6 are NNs! I got two NNs from the Marans X frizzled NN, 2 from the EE X FNN, 1 from the silkie X FNN and 1 from the OE x FNN! Two more of my Polish mixes have hatched, too. The others don't have Naked Necks, but are oh, so cute! Will post photos after everyone fluffs up!

Mothers Day was not the greatest for me... all of my 4 children live away. DH had to spend the entire weekend helping at the Indian Powwow in Canton. I usually help, but we had a wedding here at the house, and I needed to be here. So, Saturday was the wedding and the reception and Sunday they checked out late. Then I had to start the laundry, clean, etc. But, look what DH got me at the festival!!!!

Don't you love my new handsome rooster!
