What type of feed are you giving them as if sound to me like maybe eating tooo much calcium or mineral supplement.

Purina Flock Raiser and Oyster Shell on the side. It's definitely not the Flock Raiser. I believe it's only 1.3-1.8% Calcium.

thank you! I looked in on them before I went on some errands and she was scratching around in the bedding. I'd say she's all good. LOL I looked in a moment ago and 2 are napping, poops are looking normal and Honey, the CO is stuffing her face. Again. She eats like a little fiend and is feathering quickly. I'd say all is well.

Soooooo I took my eggs out for one last candling and air-cell tracing, and to take pictures to see if you guys think the air cells looks ok....

Only to notice I HAVE TWO PIPPING!!!
Cue immediate panic!
I popped them back into the 'bator and kicked up the humidity to 50%! Hopefully I put them back at a good orientation! It's the two smallest eggs, so maybe the chicks stayed warmer than the fatter eggs, and hopefully they'll be ok and not underdeveloped! I don't know what time they pipped because I just got home from work, so I have no clue how long til actual hatch! I'm so worried/excited! Ahhh!

I moved it to a different location in the brooder last night and when I checked it this morning it seemed to be more consistent with how it really feels in there. I put the weaker chick in a separate brooder for the night to keep her protected while she regained her strength enough to go back with the others. She was quite wobbly for a bit and the other 2 kept knocking her down if they bumped into her and I would have to help her get on her feet. See was in good shape this morning, seemed happy even. They're back together and all seems to be ok. I am keeping a closer watch today, too. So far, so good.

Cliff, Oyster shell would not affect the membrane, just the hardness of the shell. If your chickens are fairly new to laying eggs, all sorts of malfunctions happen until they get a little older and their systems regulate. Newbie egg layers can have double yokes, yokeless, double membranes, blood spots, egg within an egg, etc. Sometimes they can lay shell less eggs, odd colored eggs and opps eggs. So, I wouldn't worry about your eggs.
