I haven't been on here in a while. Busy working on chicken things and hatching. I got Buckeye eggs from SC that hatched out yesterday. Some how I got one black chick in the group. Trying to figure out what breed it is. All of the Buckeyes are in a pen of their own.
Is anyone on here going to the TSC animal swap this Saturday in Augusta?

And, I know what you mean about your chicks....I may end up growing out about 10 to 12 of the chicks I have hatched to see what they look like. Here is one for sure I want to keep! I have a question for those of you with experience selling. I'm at 14 weeks with my ameraucaunas. 4 of the 8 are roosters. I only need to keep one, I hope to sell the other 3. These are pure bred from a breeder, so what's a good price? is $20 each too much?

some of the pics aren't real clear, I swear these birds are worse than a teen who doesn't want his picture taken..........

Dangerously so! I already have plans to get a dozen shipped. Half blue-laced red wyandottes, half breeder's choice! Hopefully this little homemade 'bator is as good with the next group.
