what is it that you're worried about? mine didn't crow until 15 weeks, and that's just one out of 5 rooster I have, LOL I imagine they'll all be sounding off in competition in a few days

I worry it's a sign of aggression? I don't know. Never had chickens before and didn't intend on keeping a rooster but may keep him for a while longer as long as he's not aggressive to me or my family.

are you handling him? this one that crowed is the biggest of all the chicks I bought that day. He's also the one who will give me time to settle on my stool, then come crawl up on my lap. Doesn't mean yours will be aggressive, besides, you put him in his place a few times and he won't be

He will let me near and eat out of my hand but not let me really pick him up.

I absolutely loved Mike and his family. Such a sweet group of people. And was apparently happy enough with what he saw and the prices that he wants me to keep him up to date on any future goats I may have available.
