That's gonna be really hard to find in this parts of the south. May have to order it. It's also not really the time of year to plant alfalfa. What part of GA are you in?

So, did anyone miss their first set of chicks the first night they moved out to the coop? I moved them to their new home this afternoon and I miss them already. Especially Stanley the Rooster.

Yes!!! I missed the chirping and their fussing when I cut the light out at night.

Omg. I'm so sad. We were delayed on starting to build the coop because 2 got sick + bad weather. It has taken a month since I did 98% of it by myself. Mr. Stanley Roosterface had already started crowing right here in my living room.

He wouldn't crow until I'd come over for a visit with my morning coffee. Now, the only person who will hear him crow in the mornings is my neighbor.

I do have the new babies in the brooder, too. But I want my Stanley. LOL

I've been ordering timothy hay and pellets from SmallPetSelect.com. Best quality and customer service! Lucille Bunn won't touch anything else now. I tried to trick her once when I ran out before my shipment came. She couldn't be bothered!

Not sure if they have alfalfa, but check them out. I like that they have an auto-ship subscrption.
