YO GEORGIANS! :)

Omg. I'm so sad. We were delayed on starting to build the coop because 2 got sick + bad weather. It has taken a month since I did 98% of it by myself. Mr. Stanley Roosterface had already started crowing right here in my living room. He wouldn't crow until I'd come over for a visit with my morning coffee. Now, the only person who will hear him crow in the mornings is my neighbor. :/ I do have the new babies in the brooder, too. But I want my Stanley. LOL
Make him an indoor chick

So, I have an issue. My son's favorite baby chick ended up being a rooster. He started crying when He thought that we might have to kill him, and I just don't have the heart to break his! I promised him that I would try my very best to find Mr. Jack Sparrow a home. Can someone help me keep my promise? Jack Sparrow is a Bantam Golden Laced Cochin that is 6 weeks old. Very friendly and spunky. Any takers? I just don't know what I'll do if I can't find him a home... My son would be heart broken.

I'll take him and give him a good home, I have a few hens that need a good husband.

Saltandpepper2-where are you located in the state? I can't make any promises until I know, but if possible, I'll be happy to help with transport to Katsdar if needed.

Awww you have a Jack Sparrow too? I'm sorry you have to rehome him but so happy to hear someone here needs a hubs for their girls!!

Anyone have any pointers on where to find alfalfa seed? I would love to get a huge bag like I do with the barley.
do you have any feed and seed stores anywhere around? you'd most likely do better finding it at a mom and pop than at a chain type store. I think our feed and seed here keeps it, because he puts it in the 'food plot' bags he does for hunters

Like I ever listen to anything you say. That's funny!

Slacker! Strap that stuff to the top of the car and go. Abmad-style. LOL
wait, ain't she the one what drives all over the northern half of the state picking up other peoples chicks for them? and she can't deliver something SHE is selling? that's funny right there
