So I only had one hatch! I am so sad and my little Buff Laced Polish baby is all lonely. I am going to find a couple more babies to put with it.that are close to the same age.

So, should I be worried for the Golden Girls & Stanley Roosterface? They've only been in the coop for 24 hours and I just heard the loudest thunder I've heard in a while. Is that gonna freak them out really bad? Looks like a huge storm is about to blow through. Bad enough that I'm about to fill the tub in case the power goes out. Or else we won't have running water.

I wouldn't worry too much about it as long as the coop is secure and leak-proof, but that's just me.

It blew past pretty quick. And surprisingly, it is actually leak proof so far as I have seen. So, I guess they're fine. I think it gets a bit too warm in there so I have a tabletop fan propped in the recessed windowsill to keep air flowing.

I sure hope so! I went out to check the temperature in there after the storm to see if it had dropped any, they almost sound like they're whining or crying when I open the back doors. LOL

I can hear them clucking around and as soon as they hear my voice or see me peeking through the front window, they start. It's kinda funny. Mostly the girls.
