YO GEORGIANS! :)

Katie your chicken coop is gorgeous and i am sooo jealous it such a great thing to take pride in sometime that you build and take time on it until it is to your liking i think it looks great!!!

Thank you. My husband's ex partner told me yesterday that my husband told him that he could sleep in it.

That was the first I heard of it. I'm sure it was followed by the fact it likely cost him an arm and a leg.

it only cost him a FRACTION of what it COULD have if you'd bought a built coop or paid a contractor....just sayin......

yeah i'd say probably so. that's only gonna be about 7" between so that should be fine. Make it less of a slope and they'll be ok. You got it GOIN ON girl! very nice work!

well that works for me then. If I didn't feel like crap today, I'd be out there working right now. Something has got me feeling like I'm gonna puke. And before anyone starts suggesting- not pregnant. I promise. I'm guessing a bug of some sort.

We did discuss that. And I was reminded that I hadn't added in the cost of eating out since I wasn't cooking regularly. I'm pretty sure that part was exaggerated a bit.

I think she's saying she has virgin gay roosters trying to breed, but they're lower on the pecking order than the hen, so she fights back, and maybe they tried to gang up on her and that's how her feathers got pulled out?

I don't know though, I think I may need an interpreter

I just choked on my water.

glad you have a good sense of humor for me picking on you. One suggestion meant purely out of 'help' .....maybe before you hit the submit button read through your post and edit it

as for the age, yeah my blue ameraucanas turned 16 weeks yesterday. Out of the 8, I have 4 hens 4 roosters. Only one of the roosters is crowing yet, heard him the first time last Thursday. I don't know if the others just aren't 'there' yet or are too intimidated by him to start.

I have noticed they are starting to chase the girls, and I'm forcing myself to refrain from quoting 'georgie porgie puddin pie' here.......because needless to say they aren't receptive to the idea at all just yet and in order to be chased, they obviously have to run LOL

BUT getting back to the original post that started all this, I think the missing feathers are a guilty rooster

Thanks, @GAMarans !

Maybe she's just a kung fu pullet.
