 :rant aaaannnd cue spoiled rotten temper tantrum in T-minus 10 seconds....

Told the DH we were invited to a pool party at his ex partners house. I was hoping that maybe, this year would be back to normal. His response? Directs me to this video on youtube. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I think a little bit of both.

"Video is private".. Can't see it :(

Hi,

I just subscribed to this forum, today. I am very happy to have found it. I live in Pickens Co., Jasper, GA.

I am just getting back into backyard chickens since we moved. Right now, I have 3 Euskal Oiloa Marraduna type, 1 hen, 2 pullets and 3 Pita Pinta Austuriana, 1 roo and 2 pullets, 8 wks. old. These breeds are Spanish and supposed to be very cold weather tolerant and heat tolerant.
I have raised and owned Dominique, RIR, Black Australorp, Buff Brahma, Buff Orpingtons. I am planning to get a couple of Black Australorps if I can find a couple of juvenile pullets. I hatched out 9 chicks in my new incubator a couple of mos. ago. However, because of a health scare I was not able to take proper care of them at the time. I had bought 6 eggs from a local Easter Egger breeder and she was gracious to take the 5 babies hatched from her eggs. The other 4 chicks were from eggs that came from CA.
I still have 3 of them. After all this, it seems that what was thought to be allergies and causing bronchitis, turned out to be manageable without my having to give up my animals; horses, chickens, cats, dogs.

I love my chickens and look forward to seeing and hearing what all is going on in GA

Welcome, Armuchee here, and if your looking for birds/eggs check here first they have some great stuff and great people to do business with and we have been know to shuttle birds around to help cut down on driving.

I'm pretty sure my silkie has gone broody, I'm thinking about about giving her some eggs to sit on an hatch. I'm in the savannah area and we don't have a rooster. Anyone know anyone selling eggs? Breed really isn't a concern.
