Shadesofsable, did your OE come from me or Rocky?  I believe his were crosses of Legbar X Wellsummer.  They would definitely lay olive green eggs.  Do you have a photo of your chick?

I would google their ordinances because they are different for every county but....I would think long cout would be okay.
