YO GEORGIANS! :)

Alright i know i am late to this party but turkeys grow incredibly fast. The 3 poults are 11 days old now and the wing feathers are almost 3" long. They are already dwarfing my chicks that are 13 days old. This is wild to watch side by side.

Everyone is making me want to get a turkey now...not just from this thread but from others as well and probably a duck too!

yes they do and when I had my BBB's I fed them what the chickens got and they did just fine, the growth was a bit slower but no ill effects just an FYI, turkey/game feed is expensive and when I had the regular bronze I did the same and they were good too.

Seems like its always something, yesterday the hawk ordeal and now today I went out to the run and my SL wyandotte, screech, was limping around with a possible broken leg. :( got her cleaned up and splint, and she is eating and drinking great. She has been brought inside for extra Lovins and TLC

I feed everyone Flock Raiser. It's good for the turkeys, the ducks, the chickens, the adults, the chicks, the roosters, the hens. So much easier than different food for everyone.

Then you give them oyster shell for the eggs?

I had my first ever case of the bumble foot and have treated it successfully and my girl is walking around with a pink wrap. How long does it take for the foot to heal?

Hello my dear friends !! I have a game we need to play called "Who's Your Daddy" here are the banty chicks that were hatched by the Java (solid black momma and was supposed to be fathered by a solid black Java roo) looks like somebody stepped out on somebody. I just love this roo, and his crow is starting to sound better not so much like a strangled cat.
thats a mighty dang pretty splashed up Rooster ther I really like his color it different.
