and, I did just get done making dinner and 2 tiramisus for my DH and his coworkers. Saturday(?) is National Thank a police officer day, so I'm sending him to work with the tiramisu tomorrow. A day early. Because if it stays in the house any longer, I will eat the entire thing.

With a night you're having I would be half way done with the bottle by now!

Yeah. normally I would too. LOL
It's been so long since there has been a bottle of wine in the house, that I actually forgot I even had it. Summer time is usually margarita time. but, that's all gone.

Lockdown night! I had a blond moment and didn't realize it until after the pic.. Thought I was being slick separating with a shoe box, but then realized the turner can't dip down into the hatch tray if that's there. :/

At least I realized before I messed anything up! I ended up just laying a couple water bottles across to separate mine from yours, Papa. If mine finish hatching Sunday before too much action from yours, I'll get mine out and separate your browns from blues. :)

Just be mindful that it is illegal to discharge a firearm within 50 yards of a roadway.
I can't even get the cops out here to stop our 60 mph speeders in a 40, so I don't think they care too much what goes on in the country, They'd have to get a wagon to haul everyone in, it's gun city out here, it helps that we have a creek and hills in back of us and lots of open fields.

Did you get them?
No no coyotes pelts yet, but this am they were just behind my tree line, I hurried up and put my dogs in. I got off a few warning shots but I was scared to go and search them out not sure how many and didn't want to be on the menu. Ok check this out, I'm not the only one with a hawk doing fly bys, but a neighbor up the road a ways has a real problem, it is really doing a number on his bird count, so he called DNR and they told him if a hawk is threatening your live stock you can shoot it. Anyone else hear this?
A bear and 2 cubs were sited up the road a ways from me, and nope you can not shoot a bear with cubs, that's good,
Hi Flowerbh!

I am in Flowery Branch! We do have goats! I have 3 ND girls. 2 are hermaphrodites so they are just pets for me and I have one doe I am going to register and breed once I feel a little more experienced. We jumped into goats and chickens all in about a month and I have had a blast this summer with them! Hubby thinks I've gone a little crazy already planning on making our shed into a really big coop so we can have a nice little flock. We have ended up with 3 roos and a little golden mutt hen. 3 roos are barred rocks we got as chicks and raised. They are all that's left from our humble start in April! I am trying to figure out how to keep them or rehome now that I have gotten attached! I am certainly not a vegetarian but I am having a hard time with the thought of eating meat that I know before it's on my table!
