YO GEORGIANS! :)

That's normally what I use after the first day!!!
yeah I had it in there the first day, but I also had the water fountain in because I had a few chicks in a tub inside with the other sprite bottle, and I didn't want 22 chicks and mamma to just have one 20 oz water bottle to drink from. So after ms curley toes foot straightened out, I moved them all outside and put both bottles in the brooder. I need to get another bottle, I do have a couple of the nipples.

I had thought about running a line in there from the water barrel, but then decided I'd be better equipped for electrolytes and vitamins if I keep it separate

That's a great idea. I never would have thought about having another completely separate with vitamins.

yeah I like to give them electrolytes the first few days, followed by probiotics. This time I had one hatched out with curly toes and needed to give it vitamins as well. I kept it and another for company inside in a sterilite tub with their own food water and heat light. A 'boot' made out of a cardboard cutout and the sticky ends of a bandaid for a couple of days and the foot was good as new

I'm thinking of maybe connecting it to the water barrel anyway, with a couple of cutoffs and a connection to hook up another source for when I need to segregate some with some special needs, the way my mom had to do for a couple of my sisters

Hahahahahah!!!! That's funny.

Flower,
I wanted to show you how the babies are doing now at 5 weeks.
#2 looks like Beau, what a handsome boy!
#5 looks like a Swedish Flower. When might a tuft or poof show up?

They are all so very friendly! Dani goes over with her basket and they run to her to be picked up and carried to their play pen.
