Just checked on babies. All are eating and drinking and running around. From watching them, they may all be females! Will let you know more at a later date to see if I am correct!

Momma hen acts like she doesn't even miss them.

Soooo, since the babies are in the brooder, I went ahead and put the juveniles in the big coop. I have a section in there that I can close off and keep the juveniles (or babies) in there. They will stay in there with the door closed for several days. Then I will open the door at night and let them venture out on their own when they are ready.

These are 2 of my 3 I need to find a new home for. I also have the one that is in my profile picture. I have a small coop and 4 Roos to 5 hens just is not a good ratio lol. I would sell them together for only $10 or willing to trade for 1 hen or supplies.

I only have space and hens for 1 rooster.

Yes , all turned orange. But naked neck is pure white.
