YO GEORGIANS! :)

Thanks. I did look up in the trees and everywhere. I'm also thinking if she could fly up into a tree she could fly over a 4ft fence. Probably giving her too much credit. I'm hoping she found a place in the garage to stay warm. It's very cold here. Ill go back out and look up some more.
thanks

@PapaChaz I'm putting a very small batch of MFD eggs in today. I have one other guy wanting chicks so you can either have these or the next batch which I'll probably put in next Sunday. Let me know which hatch you'd prefer.

I can't wait to see how they do!

Also, GAM- I think I officially have a Brahma pullet laying! Had an egg this morning that is very small. Here it is beside one of my bantam eggs. Yay!!
it doesn't matter to me ma'am, do what you need to do. is the other guy paying? if so we don't mind waiting :)

did you find your turkey?

Remember me mentioning the one unhatched egg from the New Years Day hatch? I just threw it under my other broody. I just candled it and it has pipped internally! So, I am firing up my little mini bator and will put it in there later tonight! This egg is from a frizzled NN, so maybe another NN! I don't want that broody to hatch it because she might not want to stay on the other eggs. Those still have about 5-6 day? Really don't know for sure!

Update: The egg pipped early this morning. Tiny tiny pip. Nothing all day. Got a little worried so I took it out and tried to pull back a small piece of the pipped part. OMG! The shell was like concrete! I couldn't crack any of it! So I ended up tapping it with a knife. And still had trouble with the shell. Poor baby! No wonder it didn't make any headway! Anyway, got enough of the shell and membrane away from his face so it can breathe comfortably. Will leave it alone for a while to absorb the blood. (Not as bloody as it looks) But, at this point I think it will be ok. Really was a hard shell!!!

I am thinking about ordering some Speckled Sussex this Spring. I have a pair and may hatch a few of their eggs but I worry about getting more roosters. I will also be ordering some Barred Rocks for someone else and may keep one for me. I cannot handle anymore roosters and shouldn't even have them where I live and until I sell the Buff English and Blue English Orpington roosters I have 5. If those English Orpingtons keep growing I am going to need a barn to put them in. They are giants! No Pic even does them justice on size and color. I could sell the buff hen as well but nobody wants to pay what they are even close to being worth so just selling the roosters. Anybody interested just let me know. I would even trade a rooster for a few barred rock hens or a few Speckled Sussex hens. They are pure and they are huge!

I am also thinking of selling my EE rooster in my main pic. All of his blue has come in now. He is nice and gentle with the hens but I have a blue Ameracauna I plan to use for breeding and really don't need both. I call him Merica because he is red, white, and blue.
