YO GEORGIANS! :)

google the benefits of apple cider vinegar and read up on it. Old wives tale or fact? I don't know for sure, but I do know that I started taking a tablespoon a day in a glass of juice and it sure helped with indigestion. Needs to be 'with the mother', and when you read up on it you'll understand what that means

My mother in law swore by it and excellent health. She finally had a stroke at 95 while at work and was engaged to be married!

Well seems it has now come to being a chicken rescue for me, local animal control does seem to be concerned about abuse or neglected chickens, so I just rescued two more, unfed, no water, neglected hens, previously rescued another one. How can people want chickens, invest in a somewhat coop and run and then neglect them. This is beyond me.! Seem to be healthy once I gave them some feed and water, will keep them isolated from my other hens and keep a check on them for a while. Not sure of age, weather they are old or young, laying or not

I take my hat off to you! Keep getting them if you can. People just don't see chickens as worthy. Makes me sick. Thank you for doing this.

Poof is very diligently caring for her two golf ball babies. Still no luck. I wonder what's going to hatch from them? Lol

For those of you who hatch...what do you do with the babies??
I really want a few more chicks. My coop is full. I have about 20 right now. I really want another pen and we have land, but I'm not sure.
We have a huge horse barn that is unused. I am thinking of brooding in there.
We also have this weird run in thing. Could we convert it to a coop somehow? I don't think my husband will let me add another structure/building to our property.
We already sell extra eggs. I really want a few more layers and and incubator. Need to be able to justify it!

I'll go out on a limp and guess it will be chicks.

Sorry ... been spending more time with Robo lately.  It's clearly getting to me.

Oh, no, definitely not. She really is incubating golf balls. But she's so dedicated. I pull her off the nest a couple of times a day and she still goes back to it.
